My Journey in HackQuest's 11th Co-Learning Camp - Day-7 Blog
The journey started on 22th December with the Townhall 1 for the 11th Co-Learning camp hosted by HackQuest. For this ongoing camp I opted for XION learning track, which is one of the latest track on hackquest. So, in this blog, I will be sharing my first 7 day’s experience in this camp.
HackQuest
HackQuest is a free online learning platform dedicated to help people learn about web3 technologies. On the HackQuest platform you can find learning tracks for many popular blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Telos, Xion etc. These tracks are well organised and specially designed documentation / module for the beginners so that anybody irrespective of their background in tech can learn and start development on blockchains.
Co-Learning Camps
Co-Learning Camps are an innovative initiative taken by HackQuest to gather people virtually for around 2 weeks to help them learn and motivate towards web3 and blockchain. Rather than spoon feeding or teaching how to copy paste like other bootcamps or videos, HackQuest choose an different and practical approach to make people read the documentation to acquire knowledge.
Also the well designed learning tracks, with included guided projects really helps people to land their first web3 application and removes fear about web3 from them.
Xion Track
XION is the only layer-1 blockchain specifically built for consumer adoption, with the mission of making Web3 technology more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
2 factors forced me to choose this track for this 11th Co-Learning camp i.e. the urge of learning Rust Language and Xion Learning track is the latest track on HackQuest, so I decided to opt the Xion track for this time. And to experience their wallet-less experience (though they maintain wallets by themselves and links the wallets with our email ids).

Attended the TownHall 1 and opted Xion as my Learning track for the next 14 days.

Revisited the Fundamentals of Web3 course on HackQuest to revise the web3 basics before jumping into the main course.
Day 3 | Data : 24/12/24 | [Link]
Started with the XION Fundamentals, learned about XION's tech stack i.e. Comet BFT, IBC, CosmWasm, and Cosmos SDK.
Day 4 | Data : 25/12/24 | [Link]
Completed the XION Fundamental course and done setting up the development environment on my pc. Though it was a bit difficult part. Faced a lots of issues, but at the end of the fixed all them up.

Completed Chain Abstraction: Catalyst for Mainstream Web3 Adoption course
Day 6 | Data : 27/12/24 | [Link]
Built the first guided next.js project i.e. Account Abstraction DApp on XION. Learned about xion.js and account abstraction on XION
Day 7 | Data : 28/12/24 | [Link]
Completed the xion.js dependency library course and built the project titled Creating a Gas-less Experience Using Treasury Contracts
Conclusion
So, this is it for the Day-7 blog. Day-14 blog is coming very soon.
